This is a solid read, but you get it. A lot of the work I’ve been doing these past couple years has been learning how to do things that enable me to survive as an artist – run a business, for example. It’s kind of crazy because I don’t consider myself a business person by nature. But it’s even crazier not to master these things because otherwise I’m just an artist with less time to create and no way to communicate it.
That you beautiful people enjoy my work enough to acknowledge the reality of living without losing faith in the value of the art despite cultural conditioning makes YOU the real MVPs. Thank you for supporting original indie music by me, your local artist 🙂
