Maggie Cocco Band – Acoustic at Diablos Caravan

Before the livestream starts I explain to the audience that I’ll be performing songs written early in my career and performed as a character that felt more comfortable and confident singing them than I did. I called this music The New Old School.

As compositions, they draw heavily on classic rock and blues. The character was based on badass women of rock and blues history; women who were unabashedly powerful, sensual, deep, and talented. It was really fun to revisit this character and her music. Enjoy The Maggie Cocco Band – Acoustic featuring  Matthew Shepherd on guitar – for Diablos Caravan at ONEONESIX.
