Hey Socials!
Fate had other plans for us this week. Whilst I planned to release a new single #heyfriend on Friday, the posts I prescheduled failed to launch (my bad), and since I was not in a position to do anything about it, I planned to simply postpone the release until this Sunday. Then fate intervened a second time and Sean McQuaid (hot Irish guy from Roadie TV) hmu to say that they’d really love to release the new solo acoustic “Jane” video, like…TODAY! So I switched gears because it looks like fate really wants you to see this!
Without much ado…
You’ve never seen “Jane” like this! Arranged for solo guitar and voice just for the Ireland 2018 tour, the feeling on this acoustic rendition is just different enough from the original to bring the feels in a whole new way!
Jane, dear Jane
You know it all so well that it can all go to hell so fast
Make it last
And when you finally see that it comes back to me, don’t cry
Dry your eyes,
The world is what you make, there’s just so much you can take
And I thought that you’d know by now
That I’d love you some way, some how
Jane, dear Jane
quit playing all your cards, making things so damn hard on yourself
no one else
Is doing what you do, just be happy with who you are
You’re a star
The light you shine on me is everything it seems
And I thought that you’d know by now
I’ve never had a single doubt
That even if the stars don’t shine where you are
And even when you fall and take things too far
I will love you, I will love you, I will love you
Jane, dear Jane,
That’s all behind you now, you can make it somehow,
you’ll know where to go
And when you need to breath, give the reigns back to me, don’t cry
We’ll get by
Your spirit and my will, we’ll get back to what’s real
And I thought that you’d know by now
It’s you I cannot live without
And even if the stars don’t shine where you are
And even when you fall and take things too far
Yes, even if the stars don’t shine where you are
And even when you fall and take things too far
I will love you, I will love you, I will love you
