In an effort to bring you a new way to experience music by Science for Sociopaths, I give you our first ever animated music video! It’s pretty adorable! Heart’s At Ease has no angle. It’s simply that “I’m so in love that I’ve never been so happy and I can’t imagine losing this” feeling. I commissioned an artist from across the world through fiver.com to animate the story. Some of the scenes depicted I recalled from my own relationships. Some are from the animator’s mind. In spite of language barriers, the language of love and it’s invaluable nature carries the images to the heart of the viewer. There’s just nothing like love.
Look what we finally found, yeah
Can’t keep our feet on the ground, yeah
You’re everything I’ll ever need, yeah
And baby, it’s hard to believe
Aheeeee,
My heart’s at ease
My heart’s at ease at home
My heart’s at ease,
My heart’s at ease at home
Look what we’ve finally done, yeah
It’s more than the race that we’ve won, yeah
You’re everything I’ll ever need, yeah
With you I feel so complete
Aheeeee,
My heart’s at ease
My heart’s at ease at home
My heart’s at ease,
My heart’s at ease at home
Sometimes I get so afraid
When everything’s going my way
When is the shoe gonna fall
If I lose you, I’ve lost it all…
Aheeeee,
My heart’s at ease
My heart’s at ease at home
My heart’s at ease,
My heart’s at ease at home
Aheeeee,
My heart’s at ease
My heart’s at ease at home
My heart’s at ease,
My heart’s at ease at home
Big shoutout to Neil Eby who played guitar and sang backups on this track, and to Ryan Anderson of MusicTown Detroit for recording, mixing and mastering!
